And it would be perfect if an owner of many Elxis had the ability to use only his Elxis tools to debug or add something to his website, instead of having to buy extra software.

Many users will consider using Elxis tools, because we are often away from our computer, where we have our various information for our Elxis websites & software to solve problems or to add something to our Elxis websites (FTP, SSH, PHP Editor’s, and other tools…).

We are talking about a Content Management System. Right?

All this will be something to be added, and I am not talking about the basic package but about a version for web developers & owners with many websites. Something like the Web Hosting Manager of the Cpanel Company.

Yeah i know about WHM, and it's totally different. Let's focus on CMS needs.

As Supernet said, Elxis is a CMS not a control panel for your web server. Also things you asked are features that should exist in a level above Elxis, not inside Elxis. It is a bad idea to bring these things inside Elxis for many reasons. I have also give up in the past some of my ideas for Elxis because at last most people just want to add and manage content fast and easily.

Please also note these:

1. There is no faster method for setting up Elxis than from an SSH enviroment. You will only need a few seconds to download, unzip and set the right permissions/owner to an Elxis site. Then use the web installer (no more than a minute work) and your site is ready. The whole procedure to an experienced user can take no more than 3-4 minutes. If someone manages web servers and is not familiar with SSH enviroment and linux commands it is not our or Elxis problem. (ie just use wget or cp to download/copy Elxis directly to the site you wish in seconds, ftp access is useless).

2. You discard an allready existing solution because it is commercial but you ask to add for free these features for your commercial usage (for your customers)! Do you think we are fools?

3. From my experience people have problem understanding complex applications. Elxis advanced features are often hidden in order not to confuse the users. If you see upcoming component EDir you wont be able to make it out with it without reading the manual first. It is powerful but the cost is that it needs your attention. Most users dont have the patience to do this. We consider these parameters in everything we create. We leave the complexity only inside code and we try to bring out a user friendly interface but if you want advanced solutions the interface can not be always simple.

4. Elxis is an already rich CMS. We have include in the main distribution many features that other CMSs dont have. We add more, but only things that have straight relationship with the better managing of content. Things you said will only be usable for a few people that want to make money out of it. If you want custom applications for your company you should build it yourself or hire people to do this work for you. Don't mess your company needs with the needs of a normal Elxis user.

5. Elxis can be the layer for setting up your small internet empire. We give you all the needed tools. It is up to you how to use them.

Thank you Datahell, for your answer and I can see your point of view even if it isn't the same as mine. Of course I don’t think you are fools and I can understand that you should be the first to benefit from Elxis, and then all the others, and you are right about that.

You are also right in saying that I speak with my own needs from Elxis in mind, but don’t we all? You and me and all the users who have already posted their wishes are asking for what we all want of Elxis.
BTW wherever I go I always have my laptop with me, in case I need to support one of my customers or my own site, and it would be a great help to be able to do this more easily. I don’t think I am the only one who does this, so I believe that other people would also welcome this possibility.

But, as I said we are looking at things from different viewpoints. I am putting forward my needs as a user and you are considering those needs from the perspective of a provider.

One point I do think you should consider is which type of user are you targeting at? From my own experience, I would think that most users unzip the Elxis locally and then transfer the unzipped file to the server. Do you really know of many users with multiple websites and knowledge of SSH?

Answer to 3.
I have seen the Edir (elias has shown it to me) and I have to say it is really user friendly, and I understand that the code behind such a component is complex. There’s a lot of work behind it, I agree.

Answer to 4.
Worldwide, there must be a large number of users who will want to invest money in order to save time and make money for themselves, and that is for sure.

What about one more feature?

That is being able to set an editor that would open a module.

Users can create modules, but to be correct the module has to created with the "NO WYSIWYG Editor", and after some time if the user has forgotten to change the default editor and he opens the module with the "TinyMCE Editor" all the code inside the module will be destroyed.

And yes I am one of the users who have faced this problem...

What kind of code? Javascript? The editor is for adding text, not code. If you wish to make a module having php, javascript or any other code then create a module using the normal way and install it. It is a simple task even for non experts. There are many users in this forum who could write a small tutorial for those that are not familiar with modules creation. I don't like at all the idea of adding even javascript through the editor. Even if Elxis is secured enough against hack attempts it is in general a method we must always avoid. In Elxis security matters.
