Problem with site after update from 2008 to 2009.3

Hi,

Recently I did upgrade of Elxis from 2008 to 2009.3 .. Elxis is upgrated step by step 2008.0 - 2008.1 ... 2009.3 ... also I use hach to check filesystem and rewrite old one.. upgrade database also and add new column and table .. and now I have error with site..

mysql Error [1054] : EXECUTE and
Warning
There are no items to display

Language is okay... time on site is okay .. httaccess file is used from new 2009.3 Elxis.. only the configuration.php file is stay old because I can not found how new need to look like.. since when I download new Elxis there is empty configuration.php file.. and on Updiag check filesystem there is warning for configuration.php...

Database is Version: 5.5.31
PHP Version: 5.3.26

Any idea why  get this error

Column "cid" does not exist in table "elx_comments" which is strange as this column exist since Elxis 2008.0.
So, I think you have done something bad but I can't imagine what.

hmm.. then its look like upgrade not pass good.. I am not sure on which step I do something wrong.. but I did step by step .. adn download every patch from this page http://www.elxis-downloads.com/downloads/patches/ from Elxis 2008.0 to 2008.1 to Elxis 2009.2 to 2009.3 update .. and its look like on one step this column need to be replaced or something

What I can suggest is ...READ WITH ATTENTION AND FOLLOW THE ISTRUCTION INSIDE THE README OF EACH PATCH. It contain vital information.
For me sound like you forgot something. If you have a backup, restore it and start upgrading from the beginning FOLLOWING the info inside each patch (readme).
I've upgraded a 2008.0 to 2009.3 installation too and no problem following istructions.
Let me know.

1) elxis_2008.0_2008.1_updater.zip
2) elxis_patch_2008.1_r2204_r2245.zip
3) elxis_patch_2008.1_r2245_to_2009.0_r2437.zip
4) elxis_patch_2009.0_r2437_to_2009.1_r2563.zip
5) elxis_patch_2009.1_r2563_to_2009.2_r2631.zip
6) elxis_patch_2009.2_r2631_to_2009.3_r2685.zip
7) patch_2009.1_r2556_to_r2563.zip

In each patch file there's a detailed readme file.
Follow the istruction and you will not get any problem at least this was for me.

I can not create table get this erorr this error  #1146 - Table 'sentisof_gaf.elx_eblog' doesn't exist

So its look like.. I can not run this sql queries correctly..

and on the end .. when I use Check filesystem with hash file I get info "Warning configuration.php File needs update" when I download elxis this file is empty.. how to update this file? So conclusion is databse is not okay.. I need to create this table and column but how I have no idea

Okay.. this is what I did... Instal new fresh elxis 2009.3 and export from PHPmyadmin 3 tables elx_comments, elx_eblog, elx_eblog_settings and because some of queries I did not done because of this errors.. I did it now.. so this is what is left .. add this on SQL queries.. and I think nothing else is left...

For what I can understand your Mysql is newer and Type option is now deprecated. You should substitute it with engine:
You need to searchTYPE=MyISAM and replace it with Engine=MyISAM
In my opinion you should use the patch for update. then you should try to fix the script problem  or use a old version of mysql engine.

Unfortunately I can use only new version of mysql ... and to "searchTYPE=MyISAM and replace it with Engine=MyISAM" do not know where to change this.. but good info is this option like I did work and now I do not have any error... and to go again everything from start .. ahhhhh no

Hi,

I just upgraded patch 2009.2 to 2009.3. When I open my website then the error message is display on the screan;

"An error occured

Please delete the installation folder."

I uploaded 2009.3 from system and save it to Desktop. Then, transfer to server by using FTP.

Then the error message appear under-mentioned;

I'd like to know the installation folder is located! Please help! :'(

On your ftp locate the directory "installation" and remove it.

You shuold remove ONLY main installation dir and don't touch any other drawer.
If you update from 2008.x you MUST use the update patch and follow step by step the instruction inside readme file.
