2009.x bx-slider links css next prev controls firefox

Hello,

I have managed to implement bx-slider on my website but there are a few issues.

The first is that the HTML a tag links for "more" does not appear to work using Firefox version 59 quantum but does work using IE and Chrome.
Does anyone know why this happens or maybe have a fix?

The second is that while viewing the bx-slider on a small device - mobile phone I noticed that the next prev controls fall into the text area.
I tried modifying the CSS but did not succeed in raising or lowering them.
Can someone suggest a fix?
