Subscribers in Newsletter module

I noticed smth in the subscribers at newsletter module. The Total number of the subscribers is 83 (written at the top of the page).
But actually i counted only 50. I tested by adding my own email. My email is added at the top of the list, but i noticed the last email of the list is disappeared. That means that the new subscribers, delete the existing one if the number has been increased more than 50. It means that maximum number of subscribers can reach up to 50.
Can someone check if I am right.

The number of subscribers is the number you see by the module (83 in your case). But the module shows you only the last 50, not all.
Don't you see the text saying you that only the last 50 subscribers are been displayed?
The last 50 are been displayed
