I changed the language default to portuguese and it said was sucess. But watching the site it didn't changed portuguese to default and continued english. How to fix this?

As I didn't found where to register in http://support.elxis.org/ and in https://www.elxis.org/bts/ I have posted in here.

I've noticed that when you set some lang to default from the bacend, it won't be default until you select it by lang bar. So, always have lang bar published.

It is not a bug. It is working as designed for. Elxis is not Mambo or Joomla where they only have one published language. Elxis can have unlimited published languages and one default.

The default language setting is ONLY used when someone visits your site for the first time (or he has deleted his cookies). If this happens then visitor will see the site in the default site's language. At this time a cookie is set to that language. If he change the language from the language module then the cookie is updated to his desired language and whenever he visit again your site he will see it in his language that might be not the default. If you have only one language published in your site (this must also be the default) there is no need to use the language change module.

If you switch language to a non-existant one or to an unpublished then system will change language to the site's default (there is no way to trick Elxis in this).

Tip1: Default language setting is very important for the search engines and robots.
Tip2: Delete your cookies and visit your site. You will see it in the default language.
Tip3: You can also change language by adding in the url: mylang=YOUR_DESIRED_LANGUAGE

I tested and it is in english and was suposed to stay in portuguese! I'm confused now

EDIT: After changing some things and server get to normal ( it was having soem problems but it's fixed now) Thanks for help and sorry the time you lost.
