Store site from Joomla to Elxis...

Hi,
I have been asked to manage this store site which was created by someone else in Joomla.
The funny thing is that they did not create a multilingual site, but instead installed joomla twice (once for each language). Now the owner of the site has to keep uploading products twice which is too much hasle.
I wanted to create a new site for him, but using Elxis. Now the joomla site is using Hikashop.
IOS Shop is not supported in the latest Elxis, instead there are build in shop features (have not tried them). Do these features offer proper online store options like pricing, product categories, cart, filter/search etc?
you can see the current site mybabylonia.gr
Now the way it is currently presenting products like a gallery, is the way the owner likes it. So will need to be somethign similar to that.
any thoughts and suggestions are appreciated.
thanks

Have you seen Mini Shop? (
https://www.elxis.net/edc/ecommerce/64.html
)
Together with Mini Basket (
https://www.elxis.net/edc/ecommerce/65.html
) it seems to be all you need.

So with mini shop any article can be an item available for purchase?
I guess I need to try it out to see how it works.
See this client likes the gallery view of the items. So I could use some kind of module that displays articles in gallery format, which in turn will be mini shop items.
