i dont want elxis to make authomatic urls like category/category/title.html
I dont need categories url..
i would like to have    /title.html directly..
how can i do this..

i think that is impossible to do also because the link of category can be replaced with an important keyword 
example if u have a category where u insert articles in a category called company, is stupid use a link = company.... if the company works in the world of gold jewelry you can use company in the title of category and gold-jewelry as keyword in the link  . the customer get pissed about this??? explain him why you did so, the customer will be happy  and you earn much money in more

Don't use long SEO titles in categories and articles.
The SEO title suggest option is bad on large titles. Make it smaller.
I advise you to always type by yourself the SEO title.

Sample Title: Eat only meat and you will extend your life to at least 200 years!
Automatically generated SEO title: eat-only-meat-and-you-will-extend-your-life-least-200-years
A better human made SEO title: meat-extend-life

On categories use a single word, or at maximum 2 words, for the seo title.
Example of good and short URL: countries/japan/osaka.html

Avoid placing content in more than 2 levels below the site's root.
Too many sub-levels: countries/japan/economy/cities/osaka.html

You do write the whole SEO link by yourself. The SEO link is the composition of the SEO titles which YOU provide. The way the SEO link is composed can not be changed and if you do so (by modifying Elxis) you will face issues with the routing. The first segment of an Elxis URI is very important in order Elxis router to route the request to the proper component. The Elxis way is the proper and recommended way to compose a URL in order to be easy to understand and also provide structural information. The SEO value of Elxis URLs is very high. If you do what you say you will end up with a messy system and your links will loose all their extra information and value.

An example.
sports/ is very clear to both human and machines that this is a folder (a category in our case) containing other items.
football.html looks like an item listed in the root folder. No one will think that this is a sub-item of the sports category. There is also no way to go back to the sports category by removing the football.html part from it.
sports/football.html On the other hand this URL does inform us that football.html is inside the sports category. If you go to your browser's address bar and remove the football.html part from the URL you will see the whole sports category as you would do with a folder in your computer.
news/sports/football.html More folders (categories) provide even more structural information on the content (a better global view) and make the final item (the article) even more specific.
news/sports/football/greece/athens/olympiakos.html has too many segments and should be avoided. Visitors need to do a lot of clicks to go to the final article and also these links are harder to parse by search engines (except if you really have a good navigation/menu system). Our recommendation is to keep a maximum category/sub-category/article.html structure. Add one more segment only if it is absolutely necessary.

starnge thing with nautius regarding rewrite rule....
www.site.com/category/xx.html is the actual link
when www.site/xx.html    it's the same..
so it means theres a dublication url which google webmaster tools warns you..
pls. see dublicate meta descriptions..

You are absolutely wrong!
1. The duplicated URLs do not exist because Elxis never publishes such URLs. You, manually wrote these URLs in the browser, you will not find any duplicated URL in Elxis. You will not find an Elxis item linked in 2 ways. The "dublicated urls" you wrote do not exist. It is just the restoration system that accepts a more loosy format just to reduce db queries. I could provide more info, or inform you what virtual URLs are (because it seems you don't know), but I wont discuss this in public. Just for your information, take a look at joomla's site:

Ohhh! the same thing! You know better than both Elxis and joomla developers? Would you like to show you the same things on other CMSs too?

2. As for the duplicated meta data, it is you the one you should provide meta keywords and description. If you dont provide so what you expect? You could even put the same title in all articles. Would this be Elxis fault too?

I am sure Datahell will be angry  at me...

BUT,  i checked many sites and they dont put category link to their  url ... ( ex. http://voices.yahoo.com)
or some drupal sites ....
and i believe thats the right thing..... 
let me give you an example  i have a huge shop and i want to categorise it
as man, woman, kids
my keyword target is camp boots for example...
and i will put boots under man normally why i need to see man category in my url??
Its very precious url and limited...

If not then there should seriously think about the site structure and avoid subcategories. If is a travel catalog and then it will be more understandable to the user where he was.

The content should be organized in categories. Creating sub-categories of many levels can be a problem but this also depends on how you have structured your menus. So in order your content to be easily accessible it has to be well organized and have a good menu system. Search engines dont have problems finding the content as long as you have enough internal links. Most people, unfortunately, don't add internal links, so the only way an item to be reached is via the menus. Adding internal links with good link title and content is very important.
