The template works as expected  !!!
You have to deeply read the JSN documentation on the original website!!!

I can assure you is not template fault.  
The template render as in the original picture.

I can assure that if you do the correct setup it will look like the link.

Is the first JSN epic release but shortly I'll update this site to ELXIS 2009 with the JSN epic latest release.

In effect in the original template documentation is not available anymore on the site: anyway follow the below steps:

1) Go to http://www.elxis-porting.com/downloads/template/1.html
2) Take a look at the second picture for module positions index.
3) Download and use the jsn image show module too for the header position.
4) Look at the CSS for use the -box option to get the style like the login box or main menu box.
5) The top menu that you can see in the link that datahell gave is the Module extended-menu  currently ready but  I want to review it better before publish on elxis-porting. Use EI Superfish Menu insted from EDC in the toolbar position for the top slide menu, it works really really good as alternative  .

Please take note that ww.elxis-porting.com was born not as elxis alternative but just to try to supply some good joomla module component to ELXIS. Using ported component is not recommended. Use it at your risk. As you can see something was done and some other thing are in work in progress. Use the e-mail next time since this forum is not the right place for support simple because they can't. Elxis community is a great community but can't help for something is not strictly ELXIS related. I'll enable a fourm on ELXIS-porting In the next future in that way user that use joomla ported component can write there for help. Please register yourself in elxis-porting to get informed about.
I'll provide a html page with detailed istruction how to use jsn epic too but not right now since I'm busy with some other important task.

I just want to say that development means to create something from the begining with your own way and skills. To take an idea is not bad, but to convert ready joomla tools (or from other CMS) to elxis, changing the (ready) code, to "sit" and work on elxis, (by my opinion) is wrong.

Nothing is wrong if contribute to let a product or an idea growing, and point me  where you have read DEVELOPMENT in my site. I always talk of porting.
I follow ELXIS from 2006 release and many older elxis component was porting of joomla.

Since I'm just a noob and start learning right now ... I've got the idea to build a team with the idea to port some good joomla component to ELXIS.
I don't  think this is wrong. Is another and different way to contribute to a project.
Doing something is better than doing nothing.

You posted here just to start argue and just to polemize and I think that no one is interested in.

wbread  as you can read ... many user posted here but not for giving you help. This post is usefull for you to remember that is not the right place for ask help for something that is NOT recognized as ELXIS related, even when someone opened a site ELXIS related like elxis-porting is.

Just argue ... nothing else.

It' s time to ask myself  why I should continue to support ELXIS and why I should not return to joomla.
