IOS Reservations : some ideas for improvement for the future

Good morning,

I would like to post some of my ideas regarding the component IOS Reservations. This component is really cool and works smoothly.
Working in the hotel industry (operations, sales & marketing, e-commerce) for several years I would like to share my ideas, which could be possibly used for the future version of this component. 
I'm happy to provide detailed information and if needed, I'm happy to help with the testing.

Here are some of my ideas:

More advanced search system:

• ability to search by hotel features (bar, swimming pool etc...)
  nicer price range picker ( some price line with movable point)

Rates and availability:

• Multi-rate system  - each hotel should have the ability to display 1 or more rates
  Advanced discount trigger ( for example: ability to create “ Stay 3 nights, pay only 2” )
  “Maximum stay” parameter
  Stop-sale button
  Price map by days ( if I enter a time period – then ability to show rates day by day – like booking.com – I can provide print screens)
  API connection for rate allocators ( Rate Tiger, Channel Direct – I can provide XML schema example)

Other functionality

• Commission parameter ( each hotel should have the ability to enter the commission percentage)
  Invoice system ( automatic generation of commission invoices based on the hotel commission)
  Ability to display rates with or without VAT
  Ability to amend the reservation ( fully)
  New reservation status – NOSHOW
  Ability to display rates by day when booking a room, in the reservation record and in the confirmation ( besides the total, there could be a button for rate detail with description of the rate for each day)
  System for reservation reminders (example: 3 days before the stay the system could send a reservation reminder to the guest - I can provide more information)
  System for “ Post Stay” emails
  Loyalty program for returning customers ( I can provide more information)

Important notice
Currently we work on a brand new Elxis CMS (project Nautilus). By improving the CMS we will be able in the future to create much more powerful applications. I will surely release at least one more improved IOSR version (3.6) for the 3.x generation for Elxis 2009.x and after that I will use Elxis Nautilus as IOSR development platform. So, IOS Reservations 4.x will be available for Elxis Nautilus only.
