Ultimate Content Display with a wrapped menu item

Hello all,

Does anyone know of a way to use the module Ultimate Content Display with a wrapped menu item?

I have written a small program that creates a short list and am thinking that it might be nicer to display it using the fader.

Could you please explain it better, what you want to do?

Petro with wrapped menu item you mean to have an external url and insert it as a menu item with the method of wrapped page? isn't it ?

Yes that's it.  This way the data from the program can be shown through the UCD.

The UCD only has options for section, category, and specific content pages.

OK. I have an idea how to do it. Create a new content item into a category. Put into this the content of the external site using bot KL RSS FEED (http://www.elxis-downloads.com/downloads/remote-content/191.html) and define into module UCD the item ID of this content item. In this way you will show the content without to create a wrapped menu item for the external site.

Of course this will work if the external site provides RSS Feeds. If it is a static site...forget it.

you can use the module wrapper or create a item menu ---> miscellaneous wrapper.
in this ways u can define the link to an external page of elxis. the page can be static or dynamic. you can link also to an entire site with his proper menus or links.

module wrapper is include by default  in all elxis versions... look at your administrator/site-modules

Sorry for not getting back sooner.

Niko, the php program is not an rss feed.  It is pulling data from a table so unfortunately there is not way to use it in combination with a content page.

As an alternative, I thought of adding the jquery to it to do the same thing as UCD.  This might be easier.
