IOS Eshop weight calculation based on product options

Hello;
If you're selling several different packs of the same product, eshop will not calculate the shipping cost correctly.
Suppose we sell black pepper in packs of 100,200 and 300 grams. If we choose to put these in as a product option like color (which is the right way to go about it), we can have the customer choose them easily. However, because eshop assumes that weight does not change according to option chosen, the shipping cost will not be calculated correctly because the weight is assumed to be the weight of the base product and is fixed.
One work around is to have a separate product defined for each pack option but this will result in too many products. If you're selling spices of 60 different kinds with 3 weight packs each you'll end up with 180 products instead of 60.
Furthermore, it would be nice to have support for shops who sell bulk products. The customer should be able to key in the exact quantity he needs. For example, black pepper; 250 grams. Eshop should multiply this by the cost per kg and add it in the cart as such.
Maybe we'll have these in v1.3 ?
Thanks

The answer is simple. You set 1 package of pepper to 100grams and people select more via the quantity. If the customer wants 300gr he will choose quantity = 3 and the shipping cost will also be calculated based on the total 300grams.

Of course, that would work fine. You'll just have to add a side note telling the customer the product is bulk and they're getting 1 pack of 300 grams, not 3 packs of 100 grams. Thanks for pointing it out.
