Hi there!
I have a new site made with Elxis, based on the ekebic template.
I need Ideas with the header, because I don't like it, I think the look is like web 1.0
The site:
http://micra.com.mx
Please give me you opinions about it.
PS. We just have Spanish content at the moment. =(

The new site (elxis) is much better than the old one but it needs improvements. The image on top is too large for the web (243kb). I also dont like the blue pattern on that image. You use the same pattern on footer. Except this the site is ok. Not superb, but ok. You can use
IOS Rotator
or
IOS NoobSlide
to give your site a glimpse of WEB2.0.

I agree with datahell. also:
* Use a solid color for your footer
** Try using White color border (left and right) size 1 or maybe 2px. i think it will show better

Hello again!
Thanks for your help.
I make a few changes, and I think the site looks better, I hate the old banner so I take it away.
The footer pattern is smooth now, so I think It's better.
Supernet I try you suggestion about using 1px white borders, but it look some strange.
What do you think about it?

Now the footer is darker than before.
I use the white borders to test, but I don't leave them there because the strange look of the layout.

Now it's much better, there's a new bar on the top of the page than make a good contrast with the header, so the space between the top bars ir reserved for publishing news or something.
Please give me your opinion about the site. =)

It looks fine to me. Only one recommendation: As you dont use users commentary edit Elxis general configuration and select by default not to display the number of posts under each article.
