Having purchased IOS and having noted its GNU/GPL status am I legally entitled to remove any copyright details?

IOS Reservations is commercial and not GNU/GPL.
You are not allowed to remove the copyright notice!
You are even not allowed to modify the component except from the css files.

Got the wrong end of the thingy anyhow I wasn't asking to remove any internal details as the details shown in your last post, simply any outwardly showing references.

Do you understand what a comercial license is?
You are not allowed to claim that the software is yours.
You are not allowed to modify the component.
You are not allowed to create forks of the component or use part of the component source code in other products.
You are not allowed to re-sell or re-distribute the component.
You are not allowed of anything except from using the component.
Especially for IOS Reservations you are only allowed to modify the CSS in order to suit your needs.
You can install each legally purchased copy of IOS Reservations in one web site only.

You can provide commercial services based on IOS Reservations features and charge your customers for the services you provide but you can not charge them for the software it self, or you can not re-sell the software, or claim that the software is yours, as it is copyrighted by isopensource.com

You are very close on breaking the component license (someone could say that you have already broke the license... ).

Am I too assume that I have annoyed you in some way as I find your response rude to say the least, I was merely asking a simple question as a customer and purchaser of your product I would at the very least expect a civil response instead I receive a response of this nature!!

I try to help everybody and especially those that have purchased my software. By using my software, free or proprietary one, is like a honour to me but what you have done does not honour me or elxis. Do you want examples?

Do you try to sell a modified version of IOS Reservations?

Let me explain something to you, and I wont say anything else.
My passion is creating stuff and help people building nice and powerful applications and do business with my software. I work 15 hours per day, mostly without being paid. 95% of the software I create is provided for free. I have 2-3 commercial components that are primary addressed to professionals and companies, not to individuals, that I sell in very low prices to get out the living. Giving 75EUR for IOS Reservations is nothing for a professional, you can get these money by the first reservation. I have customers that earned 5000euros in the first 1-2 months of using IOS Reservations. I aspect to honour my work and at least keep the source code and the copyright notices intact. Because if you don't do it you not only destroy IOS Reservations but the free software too. If I can not live by IOS Reservations or other commercial components I will try to find an other job and then no more free components, no more free software, no more elxis. I am not microsoft. Professionals should support elxis and all related software because it brings money to their companies. By violating Elxis' or mine license you destroy your own business. Got it?
