Missing db tables

Hi,

For two days I'm trying to install Elxis to see what I can do with it (at least I can translate it  ), unfortunately...

I've created db and user uploaded the files ans set up chmd and configuration.
I receive following error:

DB function failed with error number 1146
Table 'landineu_property.elx_core_acl_access_lists' doesn't existDB function failed with error number 1146
Table 'landineu_property.elx_session' doesn't exist
SQL =
SELECT session_id FROM elx_session WHERE session_id='8022a9f0b74d67c676e6e6175e963301'

As I can follow posts in forum I can sea that there is no tables created.
Could you please tell me how to create required tables.

which options did you select in installation , i think you checked the backup existing database...

   I receive this error in very beginning of instalation (stage 1; I even can't see first page).
   I think I'll dlete everithing and start from begining.

you are welcome, what is your hosting panel ? because i checked ELXIS on very panel's (cpanel , virtualmin , ...) and also on both platforms (linux and windows) , it works correctly , but please attention that may be some servers hasn't correct settings , so you should install it properly

i think you should check the sessions on that server ...

I ve tried everithing from very beginning, unfortunately the same mistake. (I'm sure I'm doing something wrong )
Hosting panel is cpanel.

Is there any way to import ready tables and after installation to modify them?

Now I'll try to istall it locally with XAMPP and to upload DB and rest later, what would be your advise?
if no success, I'll try once again and you'll be well informed about each of my steps...

I have a lot of CMS, but dont want them..., this is the reason to insist on ELXIS CMS.

you can install Elxis on localhost , and then move it to the server , so you need to transfer file to the server and take a .sql backup from your local database and then import that to PHPMyAdmin , and alsi you need to rename all localhost words to your domain name in .sql file ... finally you should edit your configuration.php file and reset the values of your new database name and user & pass and domain name ,etc ...

but i think you have some problems on your server of host , so you may have another problems, when you transfer from local to server ...

Tree times I receive:

"For your security please completely remove the installation directory including all files and sub-folders - then refresh this page"   when after all preparations i type http://mydomain.com  to start the instllation process.

I didn't start installation yet, but receive such a notice...?

remove your configuration.php file

DON'T remove configuration.php, just do what it says: remove installation directory, and you're done! Successful instalation!

Guys here is flow of process:

1. I creade database and database use (later copied to sonfiguration.php).
2. Upload ELXIS files to my /home/myname/public_html directory.
3. Writing values for configuration.php file (only values changed are listed):

$mosConfig_user = 'database_username;      
$mosConfig_password = 'database_password';   
$mosConfig_db = 'database_name';      
$mosConfig_dbprefix = 'elx_';      
$mosConfig_dbtype = 'mysql';

Additional info, I never passed first stage:
------ at first I had an error #1146-missing tables in db.
Cleared everything, uploaded again (I thought some files are modified during previous try, that's why I HAD to upload everithing )
------second time I faced this warning message, to delete installation folder

I just want to make it short: some hosts are not configured to support utf-8, and no matter what you do, you can't run elxis on them.
Example: netfirms.com

ADVICE: change host

NOTICE: I don't want to put down any hosting provider, it's just my experience

yes , change your host, how much space do u need , i can offer it for you , it is compatible 100% with elxis
