Probelm with instalation Templates and other modules

please look on this error whats going on can somebody help me?


ERROR: Could not find an XML setup file in the package

Installation file not found:
/usr/home/somehitng/domains/something/public_html/tmpr/install_4677ac4642465/



XML file is in ZIp that I know 100% but any way neither JOOMLA nor ELXIS does not intsalling templates

In Elxis you must not have root folder inside the zip package. That's why the installation fails. Unzip it locally and re-zip it from inside the root directory.

Example not supported packaging method:

my.zip contents (NOT SUPPORTED)
-rootfolder
        - folder1
        - folder2
        -file1
        .....

my.zip contents (SUPPORTED)
-folder1
-folder2
-file1
.....

Maybe the template is badly packaged or does not follows the standards. Send it to me to check it.

Well what I done - I just creat a folder with new name and put all files there and it works now strange yes?


but from amdin panel I can no install

Your server has SAFE MODE ON.

You will not be able to install templates, components, modules, mambots.

How to turn the safe mode off??

Only from the php.ini file. You must have access root access to your server... or contact your hosting company.

You don't. Server admins do that. Only thing you can do is change your hosting provider. Other way is through php.ini, but your hosting provider must allow you to affect default settings throug php.ini.
