Deleting elxis hash file or restoring file does not help

Hi,
I have main site and the copy of the same site of a subdomain for testing things before implementing them on main site.
For crazy stupid reason I selected security from "Normal" to "High" on the main site and got it blocked by "securiy error"
I followed the instrcutions from the automatic email that asked me to delete a file, which I did. PROBLEM: is that the main site started working after I deleted Elxis hashes file, but the subdomain does not open any more, giving a secuirty altert error [1]. When I try to open the subdomain, I receive a message that asks to delete the elxis hashe file. When I do that, the main site does not open and gives me the same error message as for the subomain [1] and so on. Deleting the elxis hashe file and restoring back the original files (I did this too for both domain and subdomain - no change) are the only things I know as solutions and those do not help me. What else can we do to make both of the sites work?
Thanks a lot for any hints

Hello Nuts,
Assuming that you can copy your configuration.php from the server or have a backup copy on your local system, change the following lines:
private $DEFENDER = 'GC';
private $SECURITY_LEVEL = 0;
If you were banned see
https://forum.elxis.org/index.php?topic=8611.0
Then after that you should be able to login normally to the web site and make any changes that you want.
