Is a good idea, but I think the discount coupon also should be applied to a selected room in certain days.  Most of the time the discounts are not for the entire property, this discount coupons are almost the same option we already have for Tour Operators.

The option to select amount or percentage in "discount coupons" is a great idea for children prices.  This should be also be in options since most of the hotels have a flat rate for children, so if you can choose between % or amount will be great.

@wieyoga The button in your screenshot is ugly and I believe you miss v2.2 css rules. Update this file
components/com_reservations/ext/hotels/css/ios/ios.css and this file components/com_reservations/ext/hotels/css/ios/ios-rtl.css and then hit control+f5 in your browser.

I've found the separator for IDR currency on final price is not working, please advise how to fix
and also on the email confirmation its possible to display the rates on currency the guest use as reference only.

@wieyoga IDR currency has no decimal digits in prices because the exchange rate for IDR is big (1:13500 for USD) and you will end up with longer numbers (hard to display on screen) and digits of no importance. IOSR formats IDR prices correctly, no change is required.

If you want to change that (not recommended) do the following:
Open file components/com_reservations/includes/currency.class.php
go to line 73 and set the value for the decimals option
'IDR' => array('name' => 'Indonesia, Rupiahs', 'symbol' => 'Rp', 'decimals' => 0),

If you set decimals to 2 for 2 US dollars you will have a number like this: 27000,00 why you need the decimal digits for such a low price, just to make the number larger?

As for the exchange rate in email it is not recommended because serious arguments and mis-understandings may rise by the client. The formal currency is the site's default. The customer pays in that currency. The exchange rate changes change continuously. If I make a booking now for 10 USD and 135.000 IDR the customer will say that it costs me 135.00 IDR which is correct ONLY FOR THE TIME OF BOOKING. After a day, and even worst after more days, the exchane rate may have changed dramatically and the 10 USD may have become 160.000 IDR. Which is the amount the customer will have to pay? 135.000 IDR or 160.000 IDR? Both answers are wrong! The correct answer is 10 USD. This is why on emails the prices are been displayed in site's default currency. In PDF receipt the exchange rate is been displayed only in total and surety fee prices after user requests although I don't agree with that for the reason I analyzed previously.

I think we just need to put a small notice on confirmation email :

Important note :
The total price in IDR (Guest selection currency) based on foreign currency on Xe.com 6 feb 2016 (Date of booking ) and must be pay based on this information

or

the total price based on USD ( default currency ) and the exchange rate may change over the time

Also I've founded  miss currency display on email confirmation when using coupon.

The pricing details calculate based on default currency ( USD ) but for coupon using guest selection currency ( IDR )

For the coupon can we make
1 coupon valid for 100 reservation ( the amount we can control it ) in stead of one email only one coupon ?
just imagine if we doing special campaign for 100 person or more

Discount coupons for future implementation:
would be better able to select multiple recipients to send the coupons.
instead send a coupons one at a time. also when you have many coupons would be good that you send coupons are highlighted, flagged, marked. it would be good to have the button "send coupons to recipient" beside an coupons. in this way we should not highlight the coupon and bring the Top of the page to click on the "send".

@openita : It is on purpose like that because it becomes uggly if you display long titles. It is also not mobile friendly.You can change it from CSS if you want, just remove the "overflow:hidden; white-space:nowrap;" declarations.

@jorgenunes : I can't check it because I don't have a mac. The specific element is a standard drop down box, nothing special. What you mean by saying it doesn't work? If it works with other browsers on mac and also works with firefox on windows/linux then it is an issue related to firefox on mac. In this case there are not much to do. I could find a bypass to the problem (if there is a problem) if I had a mac computer and be able to test it.

    Where I can see the error message?  Do you have a fix?
