Hello, For the moment i am using Elxis 2009.3 and Ios 3.
I need to install Elxis 4 and IOS 4 first in a sub-folder, and than (after 2-3 months) I will move it to the Root.
Will it be a problem with the License or Activation key after moving to the Root?

Yes, you cannot move the site. If you do so the license will stop working. What i suggest you is not to activate IOSR on the temporary site but when you move it in its final place. You will be able to work on the non-activated IOSR, only reservations and updates will not work.

Is it possible to add custom hotel, room facilities?
In the demo site i don't see that option..

You can write whatever you want in the hotel description and in room description areas.
Add there any extra facilities or anything else. You can even add galleries, videos, whatever.

hi, a question: if you enter the various data (text, photos, prices, etc..) in IOSR4 for the individual structures, you can change after the template, change the layout, without consequences or problems with the data insert of the hotels, apartments, ecc. ? Thank you

You have no problem to change template, modules, etc.
The data are saved in database and are not affected by the layout.

Are your future plans to make a package site in Elex 4.1 as mentioned above  we are travel agents and required customized packages for Tourist in  different location including hotels cars  and many add on including day wise itenary of sightseeing

It is not in my plans something like that for now. Can't tell for the future.
Currently IOSR Cars is under development and I might develop a shopping cart later.

BTW IOS Reservations and IOSR Hotels just updated to revision 705. Please upgrade your installations.
You can download upload patches from within IOSR control panel (section "Updates").

First I would like to declare my huge admiral regarding IOSR and IOSR Hotels.
Is amazing software and really cant get into my mind how just one man could develop that.

If you are a painter to do paintings. If you are a mechanic you fix cars. I am a developer so I develop software for the web. I am not something special, each one of us can be good somewhere.

IOSR Cars supports vehicles of any type, from bicycles, motorcycles and cars to tracks and buses.
The rental time can be from 1 hour (I dont remember now exactly, I think the lowest limit is 1 hour) to 90 days.
The charge is per day but you can add options for extra miles (charge by miles/kilometers). Unmited number of extra options/equipement are supported as well as limit vehicles based on driver's age.

Hello, thanks for the update.   I'm currently using old version.

I have two questions:  How can I import my database to the new version.  I have plenty of hotels information, rates, etc.  I don't want to lose the data already in the database.

Second:  How can I add "Advance Purchase" to the discounts section?  Advance Purchase is a very common option to booking systems right now.  It's a non-refundable discount.

You can use the Elxis Converter, it supports IOS Reservations too.

As for the "Advance Purchase" I replied to the e-mail you sent me but I think I understood the term wrong. Can you give us more information on what this is and how it works?

Thanks for the answer, everything converted and working perfectly.

Advance Purchase is just a non-refundable booking.  The deal is that the customer gets a very good discount for booking a room (like the early booking discount) but this is not a refundable reservation.  Very common now in the bigger reservation systems.  It doesn't matter if you book one day early (last minute promotions) or one month, you get the discount but have to realize that if the customer cancels, will loose the money.
