Site URL for a new install

Hi,
I'm installing Elxis and everything is fine. The thing is that the site url will eventually be in the form of http://www.mysite.gr. (It's not yet, cause waiting for it to be transferred from one hosting to the new one.)
but currently the site url is http://IP-address/~mysite
During the installation do I leave it the way Elxis Install finds it? ( http://IP-address/~mysite )
and if so, what happens once the domain name www.mysite.gr is finally transferred  ?

After you move the site to the final URL open configuration.php and update "live site", "absolute path" and "cache" URLs/paths.
That's all.
