strange coding in admin

I have downloaded Elxis 2009.0 and installed it on a sub site fore testing, so It is not in de root but in A dir called " cms".
the foolowing does not always happens, when clicking  on a link in the admin array it does not load the menubar correct, it will come in some coding.



what is wrong here

this is a server related problem... not elxis..

iHave look this up and apperently apche is running arround with the rewrite rule

appenrently it is a safari thing, when i work with fire fox everything is fine

I can confirm this is the case using Safari 4.0.3 (latest) browser. Issue seems related to Javascript dropdown menu. Hope 2009.1 will have a fix for this bug.

Safari is not one of the supported browsers by some scripts. I will see this issue for elxis 2009.1. Please use firefox till then.

This issue is still present in 2009.1.  It has been visible since 2008.

Just FYI   Works fine in Chrome and Firefox.  Only Safari seems to hiccup.  Thanks!

Especially for the Administration area, the suggestion is to use Mozilla Firefox
