I agree, too much white.
Just as suggestions:
1. You can play with #c9d374 and #7fbb01, taken from logo.
2. Space under scrolling text too empty. Reduce it.
3. Change your favicon.
4. No seo pro.

Thanks for your suggestions, I will take them serious, About the speed, I must pursuade my customer to change provider,(unless the provider provide a Unix  or Linux Server with apache), and your comments will help me...(-:
