i get a error message on ever page this is what it says

How you upload your files ?
what are those files permissions?
They should be 644

It seems that the english language does not exist in your site... Check inside language/ folder if the english language files exists.

If yes, check the permissions of ALL the elxis files... As it is a local installation, use your file manager (propably nautilus, konqueror or dolphin) and change permissions to 664...

ye the engish folder has content in it.

i had to change some not all of the folders chomd for the installion to 666 but it look like they have change back.  some folder with a chomd of 755 and some with 766.

E.G

includes - 755

language - 766

mambots -  766


 so i should change all the file on my server to a chomd of 644

I think your hosting provider has some problems , contact them for these matters ...
What is your host? Panel ? Company provider?

I think its a local installation: /home/.../public_html is the linux home folder...

SORRY!!  I was wrong before: the general idea is to have 755 permission [everyone reads, runs, but ony user writes], and 777 to some folders, so that elxis can write one them even if a ftp server is not installed...
