problem saving on bcknd

hi,

Installed 2008.1 and having a major problem saving new sections, categories, content items or edit existing ones from the backend.
On these only the cancel button works, all others do nothing.
Also tried to create new modules, there nothing works not even the cancel button.
Anyone knows what might be causing this?

(Is there any chance the js on the server or sth not working properly?)

Do you have any add-on in your browser that blocks javascript?
Elxis administration does not work with javascript disabled.

May be you are browsing the administration without www.

using firefox 3.
Have tried it with firefox and chrome on XP, vista and linux and the same problem persists.

Farhad what you said gave me some hope but doesnt work even with www ..   

Any other suggestions?

when TinyMCE is turned off everything works good...!

any idea what could be happening?

I'm having the same problem. In back-end doesn't work the cancel, save... buttons in any browser. I've the 2009.1 Hecate installed. I tested with crhome, internet explorer and Firefox 3.

Use firefox's debugger to find out the source of the error. In the past similar problems were due to wrong language files or to permissions restrictions when the server uses suPHP. Change language to English, is the problem gone away? Check also your server's error log.

Oh my god! I just delete the elxis.js into includes/js by error. When I uploaded all problems gone! It was a javascript problems.
