Welcome cdesp.
Nice try. This site could be more more beautiful if you try to change the colors, layout, something different from the original template.
You have to redesign the search button, which is very compressed with ugly pixels around.
You used a lot of colors. Concentrate your design to 3-4 basic colors, play with coloration around those colors.
Your logo is very sharp, use smooth anti alias when you export it from your graphics software.
Keep trying

Hi cdesp,
I agree with yiannisK. Although the site is in general good, I dont like seeing the default elxis template everywhere. Your site should has its own character. Use your own template or modify the "okto" or an other free template to something different. For example you can easily change the background image/color and the columns background image to make it a little different than the default. Like you did in the header. You can also change the icons (the stars for the popular items), the modules titles, etc. The search form also needs some more css work. Keep trying, don't give up!

I wont give up on the design it's just 4 days since i launched the site.
For me it's the content that matters most so i ll focus on that first then on the design.
I already downloaded several templates from elxis , joomla and mambo.
Designing takes too much time (for me at least) so be patient...

I try this image but i think i need the contrast with the background so i ll leave it as it is.
You are probably right about the image in the back ground maybe i ll change it with something else in the future.
Thank you all for the comments and suggestions.
