Hi,
Once, I experienced that but it was a cookie problem.
Elxis stores the current selected language using cookies.
Please use a utility like IECookiesView (
http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/iecookies.html
) to clear the cookies for IE.

Hi Elias,
Solved
Cookies in FF
what else stores elxis in cookies?
I mean a quick inline/online change on the site without thinking to delete the cookies could produce some strange effects.

Hi Big Ben,
Good to know that the problem is solved.
Frankly, you do not have to worry about cookies. Only in very rare cases and under circumstances than I haven't yet figured out they may cause the troubles you had experienced.
I have set up several Elxis online, and I never had a problem.
I experienced the problem only in one local test installation.
