Creating a Multisite - HTTP 500 error

Hi there!
sorry if this is an obvious answer. I just enabled Multisites, and followed these instuctions: https://www.elxis.net/docs/using-elxis/administration/multisites.html
But when I navigate to the URL of the active sub-site, I get HTTP500 error. Any ideas? I have added the rewrite rules to the .htaccess file. and the config1 and config2 files have been created.

The error is from bad htaccess settings. I dont know what you have done to give you an answer how to solve it. If you wish send me a personal message with FTP account details for your site to check it.
