Template Tiara for Elxis 4.x

I designed a free template for Elxis 4.x named Tiara. You can download Tiara template from EDC.
The template can be easily configured via parameters. You don't have to touch the source code!

Most important options:

• Set the display or not of the side column, or the pathway (you can also set the width of the side column).
• Change the background colour and the pattern image.
• Display a logo image or the site name and a slogan in the top left corner
• Display an information box on the footer.
• RTL support
• Dynamic Suckerfish style menus
• Display your own copyright message
• Elegant design with nice fonts.
• Error 404 template is included (page not found).
• Site offline template is included (with login form for administrators).
• Administration login template is included.
• Also includes a graphical representation of the supported module positions and a small help text.
• Module positions: left, right, top, bottom, menu, search, language, user1, user2, user3, user4, footer

Template Tiara was designed especially for a hats workshop in Athens making traditional straw hats and authentic Greek fishermen's caps (athenshats.com)

After a long time, i'm back with Elxis. Designing a site for a project of mine, using Elxis 4.x and template "TIARA".

So... I have installed the template and through the admin panel, i can edit some Basic Settings and Parameters. But i want to go more into this template. Initially i'm facing 3 issues:

1) Tried to delete/change some files, through FTP, and i get a "Permission denied" message from my ftp client. Strange! As i can delete/change files from other templates (Aiolos exc).
2) How can i use a logo more than 160x80 pixels? What .CSS files should i edit?
3) In Tiara's description area, there is a "Template Tiara module positions and layout" link. This link doesn't work for me. It redirects me to a 404 Error - Page not found (if it matters: i have renamed estia, and i have updated the .htaccess file).

Sorry if they sound silly questions. As said, i have fallen behind with elxis and this project will surely help me catch up.

Aiolos is built-in template, you upload it via ftp and you are the owner of the files. Install anything (a module for example) and you will have the same problem.

Tiara installed via the Elxis installer and the owner of the files is the user apache runs as. You use the classic (old-fashioned) mod_php and the owner will be user "nobody" (or "www", or "apache", or ...) and not you. This is why you can't write on the files. But Elxis can, as it runs as the apache user. On the other hand Elxis can't write on the files you uploaded via ftp except if you enable FTP in Elxis configuration. A typical mod_php issue we have discussed unlimited times in the past... If your hosting provider has a file manager in the control panel change the permissions of the files from there.
