Search options - Hide Author selection list

How i could hide from Search options the Author selection list?

Looking for this, i found a way but i would like a confirmation please if this is the right one

Commenting the lines 192 to 203 of file components/com_search/engines/content/content.engine.php

In case that there is no any relative parameter then... yes you could comment these lines.

As i checked, before to do it in this way, there was not any parameter for this option.
