create new menu item

Hello there,

I create a new menu for example "newmenu2013-14". When i try to create a new menu item, then a new menu "newmenu2013-1" is created  automatically, where my menu item belongs!

Please help..

Hello Fouli and welcome to Elxis,

Assuming that you have already created a section, a category, and a content item page, you can create different types of menus.

Click on the menu that you want to work with, main or top.
Then you can create either a menu that will display all content by section or category, or you can create a direct link to a content item.
Enter the title that will be displayed as a menu item, select the section or category or content, then select the language if you want it to be specific, publish, and save.
You should be able to see the new menu items when you open the site in another browser window.

What do you mean when you say that nothing was saved?  Please explain the steps that you did as much as possible.
