Hello all,
Installation was simple and worked using wamp inside the folder that I create, nautilus, even with the repository inside the same folder.
A minor problem occured because the installation did not rename htaccess.txt to .htaccess
Also clicking on the menu for administration produced, Elxis repository folder logs does not exist!
While I see the rewrite rules for estia are in the htaccess it did not give me the admin login.
As usual, the templates by datahell and webgift are well designed and clean.
Sorry to say that I will not be able to play with it more until Monday.

Thank you Peter for all of these kind words!
We have to rename htaccess.txt file manually. In case that you have enabled 'friendly URLs' options then you must edit - update the .htaccess too. According to REPO_PATH variable on configuration.php file we must define the absolute_path f.e: c:/xampp/htdocs/

What should we update, when we enable 'friendly URLs' ?

When you have enabled 'Friendly URLs' you have to rename the htaccess.txt file. But if you have placed Elxis in a subfolder then you have to edit some lines (as clearly described) in .htaccess file.

Please
siwek
provide us more information about this. We are human beings. Not magicians.
Can't access to administrator area? which means
1. Is there any error provided? blank page?
2. have you renamed the administrator folder from 'estia' to anything else?
3. Is your elxis installation placed on a subfolder or on a root folder?
4. Where have you installed it? On your computer or somewhere on the internet?

ok...sorry
Can't access to admin panel means:
I have an admin login panel with two fields (usr and password)..right
after I tried to login I see the same panel without any error info with blanc fields... (same like after login) if i try to use any other usr name or pass I received correct info about invalid usrname or pass.
I did not renamed any files (apart htaccess.txt to .htaccess), I use xampp and my instalation is in the root folder - means htdocs/nautilus
I just like to anjoy a little with this new one version - I have an aphrodite version in the same mashine - works great!
regards -Michael

Okay, I'm back. You and datahell are welcome regarding my comments on your work. You both deserve it.
Now, even though I had modified the htaccess, I still could not access the admin login. I dropped my nautilus db tables and unzip it again into my nautilus folder.
The only difference this time was that after I unzipped into the folder, I manually moved the repository out of the /nautilus folder.
Therefore it is now c:\wamp\www\repository\
while nautilus is in c:\wamp\www\nautilus\
Installed again. This time the htaccess file was correct and I only had to add
RewriteBase /nautilus/
.
Now I can access the admin login and have logged into nautilus successfully.
