lock administration account

Hello,

I want forum's help....
I upadate elxis 4.2 to 4.5 and i lock my admin account said invalid password...what i an doing wrong
elxis is in share hosting if that's help
i upload all files with ftp

Hello @neda16,
You can not directly update the core version of CMS from 4.2 to 4.5. You should update it
step by step (from 4.2 to 4.3, from 4.3 to 4.4 etc). Please follow the link [1] as quoted
below to find out the update scripts. Hope you have a backup of your website.

I messed up!!!! Unfortunately i restore the site to fix the problem and still i can 't login with admin account
when i upload the patch 4.3(i had restore to 4.2) i take white page!!!

please any help

Please perform a step-by-step upgrade process. These steps are:

- Restore your website using elxis 4.2 version and verify that it's working as it was.
- Download Elxis 4.2 to 4.3 update [1] from elxis.net and follow the instructions. Normally
you will be able to access your website in version 4.3.
- Download Elxis 4.3 to 4.4 update [2] from elxis.net and follow the instructions. Normally
you will be able to access your website in version 4.4.
- Download Elxis 4.4 to 4.5 update [3] from elxis.net and follow the instructions. Normally
you will be able to access your website in version 4.5.

You are done!

Can i ask something?
i create new admin account i have restore elxis to 4.2
I have done forgot password and send me back new password. When i go to administration and insert credentials nothing i don't take even wrong username or password.

So can you access the back-end area? I don't understand.

i cant access to back end area. dont recognize any username and i dont get any error like valid username or password.
i notice that if username doesn't exist then i take error.
if i insert my admin account username nothing returns
i dont know if helps that i have multisite
