display more than 4 posts on front page

hi , is it possible to configure the from peg to display more than 4 posts for example a design in progress at http://www.hotelboutiqueitaly.34design.com/. the requirement is for 6 to 8 images to display link to a location.

I didn't understood your question, I will try to guess what you need. Are you asking how to display more than 4 articles in frontpage? If this is the case then go to menus -> mainmenu -> Click on "Home" item to edit it. Set how many items you wish to be displayed.
