Hi,
I cannot add a video from Youtube or Google videos etc. It does not save the changes either.

Do you mean upload or write content?
If upload, then it would appear that you have a general permissions problem. In that case I would go to cpanel and check that all folders directories are 755, files 644.

Using eblog you don't need to upload any video. There are included something like bot there.
For example :
if you want to use this video from youtube :
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F_N2tlUcqdo
- All you have to write at the tinyMCE editor : {youtube}F_N2tlUcqdo{/youtube}
=> Youtube condition : {youtube}video_id{/youtube}

I know, I clicked on the button for youtube (something a basic user will use instead of typing out {youtube} ), and in the popup that requests the youtube video id, I enter it and it does not work.
Could permission issue like xmanhattan said
