Failed to create directory ... [SOLVED]
«

Hallo,
please need your help. I always get this message:
Upload component - Failed
Failed to create directory "/www/com7/petrajm/html/components/com_reservations/"
No module or component can be installed, if a new directory should be made. But the FTP works, and the rules are 777 too.
Can somebody help me please.
Thanks in advance,
Reinhold

It is a file permissions/owner issue. The proper permissions depends on how your php is set on your server.
How php runs on your site? As an apache module? As SUPHP? As fast-cgi/suexec? Something else?
