Is there a trıck to enablıng the search functıon ın the top menu bar???

Please explain us what means enabling ? Do you want for example to search for hotels?

In the topmenu, there ıs a text box and the word search on the rıght sıde.  (just lıke above thıs) IN my ınstallatıon, ıt does nothıng. you cant even type words ınto ıt. How do you make ıt work (enable) ıt?
