Check file system help - smf preview post help

Hello.

I have 2 questions.

First i make a file check and i get 303 outdated files and im using the current version 2006.4.. how could this happen?

2ond Im using smf 1.1.rc3 bridged with elxis and when a member clicks on preview post its stack on fetcing preview...
I have done a search on smf forum and all the guys that have the same error where using joomla + smf
is it possible this problem to be haritated on elxis?
if it helps it show me an error on explorer status page saing something about getelementsbytagname could not be 0
