Problem INstalling elxis. pre-install show the options good however when press . next it show a blank page. 
i use firefox 2.0.1
db user have been created
db name have been created
pass etc

Some things you should check:

- MySQL version greater than 4.0
- MySQL name (and maybe password) should not contain "strange" characters. For example the minus (-) symbol creates problems to ADODB. Use latin characters and digits and as for sysmbols you can use the underscore (_).
- See your error log to see was causes the error.

hi. again.  I successed installing elxis however I only can see and loggin in the administration area.  that is http://cartuchos.net/CMS/administration/index.php  then index2.php

however i cannot see the end user portal.  it show blank only and it suppouse it should be

but nothing is shown.  could you help ?

other fast question.  I already have a menu bar that fits my brand. how could I implement this inside a template.  the menu was done for xhtml css   and you can see it here. http://cartuchos.net/menudemo/menu.html    thanks in advance to drive in the good direction

The proper url is

Check your error logs (from your hosting control panel) to find out what causes this error. Maybe you have missed uploading some files or some files are corrupted or broken. Normally you would see an error message but you have set in php errors to be hidden. That's why you see a blank page.

You can use that menu by copy-paste its code in your template but you will not be able to modify it as it would be hardcoded in your template. Alternative, you can edit your css to make elxis horizontal menu appear just like that.

1) Also check the installed languages and the published languages.

2) From the administrator's screen go to to Tools and click on "Fix Language" tool. That may fix things.

These problems are definitely due to a bad installation.
