More Screen Castes Needed!

Hi everyone,

Me with another thread! Elxis is great, but there is still a barrier for many non-CMS users who have not used say Joomlar or Drupal or are not webmasters or have a tehnical background in developing or programming, but want to use a CMS to cook up a quick website but Elxis doesn't seem to be the easiest thing to use! But all is not lost yet, Elxis is always developing so is it's forum, community, documentation (wiki ect) and support, to this end I came across two screen-caste one on how to install Elxis (Excellent! you can't go wrong with this one) and other one -not so great - on a quick overview of Elxis Administrator.

I would highly recommend you guys continue this great tasks of creating more screencastes for newbies to quickly get up and running even with a static website or more dynamic elements. Here are some suggestions

• How to create a simple website in 10 min
• What are the functions of the Administrator Control Panel: Sections Manager, Categories Manager, Autonomous Pages, Menues Manager etc and how they can be setup to create basic content for a website

Basically make the embracing of Elxis easy for non-Elxis users so that more people adapt Elxis. Whoever did those screencastes, well done and keep up the good work!

elxis is one of the easiest cms out there..

we know that more docs and screencast needed ....

there are 2 more screencast(almost done in my pc) and more  in the roadmap...

Kostas I want to create a screen cast for the Elxis shell pre-installer, to show people how fast they can download and install Elxis with this tool (in less than 1 minute Elxis is up and running). But I have not the needed software or the time to do it. Can you also do that? There is a help article but the video is much better and people should use the shell pre-installer as it is a great tool.

don't worry i want to do more than just the menu-manager... is only that a simple cast 10' needs many hours!

i will  include it.. i think it is more easy than other ... and comes to the top of the list(installation)
