Hi. when i go into Menus Manager and click on any of the menu items, i get this error:

Also. the frontpage is displaying a "Warning There are no items to display" message. and i can't remove it.

why?

Check if this file exists:
administrator/components/com_menus/components/components.menu.php
If not. take it from the Elxis zip package and upload it in your site.

If there are no items (content items) published in frontpage it shows you that message. You have to set at least one content item to be displayed in frontpage.

yes. those items already exist so i overwrited them again, and it now it shows this error:

...so i also checked administrator\components\com_menus\admin.menus.php and that item exists as well. so i overwrited it and it still shows this message.

also the "Warning There are no items to display" message appears even if i add another item in the frontpage. i can't get rid of it.

Are those items on frontpage published for selected language?

yes, it's published for all languages.

i can remove the warning when i go into Content > All Content Items , and check the Front Page box. (but i don't want this to appear on the front page). i only want this to show when i select News feeds from the main menu.

so when i check this box, the content disappears, BUT the "Warning There are no items to display" message appears.   

so to fix this problem, i try to go into the menus manager, but i get these 2 php errors:

and i double checked my ftp and those files and directories DO exist

Check the files permissions, via your FTP set them to 644.
