Problem with Elxis SEO

Hi Everyone,
I'm having a problem with Elxis SEO feature. It just won't work, stating that the server could not find the requested page. Does anyone know a work-around?

Hi,
Have you enabled the .htaccess file?

Yes I have. And I also have Apache version 1.3.37 (Unix). So I think I fulfill the requirements so far. But I still have to turn off SEO for my site to work.

Might be a stupid question, but have you renamed htaccess.txt in your site's root dir to .htaccess prior to enabling .htaccess in admin panel?

I just realized it might be a problem with the .htaccess file. What would be the standard one to use? I've checked over the Internet but there are many different ones and I do not know which to choose.

Hi Patricia,
I just went to one of my sites, renamed htaccess.txt to .htaccess, then enabled SEO in admin panel and everything was working, no problem. I think there are some problems with your server's setting, if it's not working for you.
