DB Creation / Installation Error

I did some searching and found this error in the forums, but the resolution, to my knowledge, wasn't posted. Here is the error I get after populating the database information page during the installation process.

Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in ...dnc/installation/install2.php on line 94

The hosting company is lunarpages.com
PHP version on the server is 4.4.1
MySQL version on the server is: 4.0.25-standard

My password and user ID are correct for the DB, tested it by entering incorrect info.

Any suggestions would be great. I'd rather correct this myself then have someone login for me.

Hi,

What version of MySQL are you using?
Elxis requires MySQL 4.1 or later.

nevermind. I found the problem. I'll have to relocate to a new host.

The good thing is that you were clear and short on the cause and solution of the "problem"
The bad thing is that you have to change hoster in order to use Elxis.
