eBlog - display of content on the front page.

Hello again!
Two questions regarding eblog.
1) Suppose I have several eblogs. Is it possible to display the new content on the front page of the main site and then remove from the front page?
I could not find a way to do it. Is it possible at all?
2) TinyMCE of E-Blog needs a button for "HTML EDITING" and a drop down list for CSS styles, as in full version of TinyMCE editor of normal content items. The panel is set in embedded JS file, which is taken from somewhere... I couldn't trace it. Could somebody guide where I should look?
Many thanks in advance.

Hello Pavel,
I have not tried to add the e-blog to the front page but you can try it to see how it will work without too much trouble.
I have tried it as a menu item with multiple e-blogs and that tested nicely. I do not understand what you mean by adding it to the front page and then removing it.
You can see some of the examples that I tested in the documentation area.

Unfortunately TinyMCE does not have a number of features that would make it better. One of the problems that I find is the lack of ability to upload pictures and then to select them without having to leave the e-blog control panel area.
At some point I will guess that these problems will be solved but until then your best bet especially if you want to use some special html formatting is to do it in another program and then to copy paste it into your e-blog.

1) I wanted to publish one post from eBlog on the front page. I couldn't do it and I decided to have eBlog AS my front page instead.
2)TinyMCE is a very advanced text editor which is highly configurable and has lots of plug-ins as well.
http://tinymce.moxiecode.com/examples/full.php#
Last time I was trying to change TinyMCE for normal content items within Elxis (to make it display rel attribute for images) I found out that there are two layouts it comes with: simple and advanced. You can switch between them in the JS script that controls the appearance of TinyMCE editor.
Advanced layout is the one that is used in TinyMCE for normal content editing by default.
EBlog post editing page source shows all settings of TinyMCE and among them "Simple Layout". It excludes html button, class format drop down list and several other features.
My problem is that I could not find where TinyMCE in eBlog is loaded from (within Elxis). Would someone know where to look for it?
Many thanks in advance.

Pavel,
I assumed that you understood about using the eblog since you published it as your front page.
As for tinymce, I can't say for sure that if you modify it how things will work afterwards. For that information I would say that Datahell would be the best person to ask.
I believe that the file that you are asking to modify is tinymce.php located in the mambots editors directory.
Be aware that you will have a problem updating if you do make changes to internal files.

Thanks. Indeed eblog edit page reads file from tinymce.php, where all buttons of TinyMCE can be fully customized: added/removed. There may be a problem with upgrade as the new version may overwrite the settings, however, I hope at least two buttons (styleselect) and (code) will appear by default in the new version of elxis. They are very useful.
