Problems accessing Elxis tools (SOLVED)
«

Hi everyone,
I just upgraded my website to Elxis Olympus but I can't access the tools in order to verify the installation has been fully completed, as it was suggested in the installation guide. All I get is a message telling me that I am not authorized to view this resource. Has anyone else stumble on this problem? Can any of you think of a quick work-around? Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you
Update: I cannot edit the profile from the front end neither, even though I am a Superadministrator, I seem not have to have sufficient rights to do so! Also I can no longer modify the contents from the frontpage.

Hi , Did you check your files and folders permissions ?
Did you uploaded all files and folders and overwrite them ?

It is safe to remove the whole administrator/tools/ folder and replace it with the new files from Elxis 2008.0. Don't frget to chmod to the configuration files of the tools and to the log files to 666. As for the content submission, 2008.0 has more settings in the access manager and a totally different way in how you submit content from front-end. Make sure the new permissions exist in access manager and the "submitted content" is visible in back-end.

I changed the config.php files I was able to find but did not see any log files. And, of course, my problem remains.

Patricia send me if you wish login data to your ftp and to the elxis administration to check it for you. I can see it later in the afternoon.
