If I'm still breathing, I'm doing something!
links in content

Hello,
I would like to list some people on a content page and then add either a link to the name or some small graphic that will display their resume / cv in a frame. I can only see adding the resumes separately as autonomous pages.
Is there a way to do this using content pages?
Can anyone offer some clues as to how to do this?
Thanks.

Create a section category titled "cvs" and enter inside it for each people a content item titles as the people name.
Example:
cvs/jack-daniels.html
cvs/john-the-ripper.html
cvs/george-bush.html
etc....
If you have many of them you can use mine Appendix component that will create you an alpha index automatically.

Thank you for your replying.
I created the
section
. Then in the description I copied paste:
jack-daniels.html
john-the-ripper.html
george-bush.html
I then went to the
content page
where I have a few names listed as members and chose one then used the i
nsert / edit link
and pasted jack-daniels.html in the
link url
.
This is what I received:
Not Found
The requested URL /elxis/mambots/editors/tinymce/cvs/jack-daniels.html was not found on this server.
Originally I thought that I could have the cvs (only about 5) as content pages and somehow just link to them.
e.g.
Jack
or
Jack
What am I doing wrong?
Thanks.

No, you dont have to create manually the links.
Follow these steps:
1. Create a section. Name it what ever you like, i.e. "my section"
2. Create a new category named "cvs". Add this category inside the section "my section".
3. From the elxis administration menu navigate to Content-> Content by section -> "My section" items.
For each person create a content item. Name these content items as the persons name, i.e. "jack daniels".
Place these content items inside the cvs category.
4. Go to menu -> main menu. Create a new menu item of type "table content category". Select the cvs category.
Now go to your site front-end. You will see the newly added link to the cvs category. You will see a list of links to the persons CVS.
