blue line over the linkable image change to white or whatever

what about to change the blue border color to white..

i tried to change it by this code style="border-color: white"   and from blue it is shown me as green on ie ..

i know something is going wrong with this code .

and i found a better solution about that
on the head of  my stylesheet  i put

img
{
 border-color: white;
}

and  all my images released with a white border..

if i like to remove the line i just put  border="0" and it is over.

i forgot to specified the position of a code .... put it on your css the code at the head of it ..

and put the color you like ...
