Error in Menumanager after local test installation

Hi,
I cannot create new menu items.
Menu Manager -> New ... I see a white empty screen

Fresh installation on my laptop:
Server version: Apache/2.0.53
Server built:   Aug 30 2006 13:14:23

mysqlcheck  Ver 2.4.4 Distrib 4.1.10a, for suse-linux (i686)

The installation works perfectly. I can access the admin area, everything is ok. But the menumanager fails.

Enable errors in php to track error. This way we can not tell which is the problem.
