Congrats on 4.3 - esp. relation key!

Hi there,
congrats on 4.3, some great improvements! Still exploring but the 'relation key/read also feature' is something I've been hoping would arrive!
A question on this feature: is there a way to include the date of the related articles?
before a possible permanent fix, perhaps I could insert a hack in the interim?
Thanks again!

here it is in action:
http://www.pgaction.org/news/press-releases/statement-kulasegaran-att-icc.html
- as you can see by the type of 'news' site - dates would be quite helpful for the 'related' articles.

You can do so if you modify Elxis source code and a database query but I suggest you to leave it as is. The related articles should be just links and nothing more. For the proper "related articles" use consider the following scenario.
A news site publish a story of a man lost in a mountain. The next day his daughter said that the time he was lost he was wearing just his pyjamas! A new article is written and set as related to the previous one. After 2 days of search the man finally found sleeping in a cave. One more article is published and set related to the previous ones. A reader can click on the bottom link to read the previous articles and get an idea of the full story.
A warning for pgaction.org:
You have a category with seotitle "archive". This conflicts with the Elxis 4.3 content archive pages. Edit your "Archive" category and set a different seotitle. Also edit your relative menu item.

Hi datahell,
thanks for your response and the tip about 'archive', I will remedy this.
But I don't understand your example - why would it not be wise to display the date of publication of all the related articles?
News sites always display their date of publication for related articles.e.g. see 'related coverage' in the right sidebar of this page:

The site you show us displays related articles on the side column as module, not below the article's text. This is something else. You can ask a request for this when Elxis 4.4 is under development (mid-end of summer), I can do nothing for you now.
Note: The related articles are displayed ordered by date (newest first).

Hi again,
i've just moved the section previously called 'archive' and have installed the 'archive' module, but it gives a 500 error if you go to the URL. Any ideas?
Any more info. I can provide?
e.g.

Maybe you have something custom in your htaccess file for the "archive" path.
If you can't solve the problem you can send me a PM with access details to your FTP to check it.
