Switching language front-end of tag pages

Hi datahell,
if I click on the flag to switch language while on a tag page, an error page is shown. However, the tag page does appear in the correct language if I manually change the URL by adding 'es/'
Is this a known issue?

The query string is not part of the new url when you switch pages. So you get redirected to the tags page without a tag declaration. This is why you get the error. This behavior is absolutely normal, not a bug.

Initial page:
example.com/tags.html?tag=test
Page after language switch:
example.com/de/tags.html (tag not specified > warning)

Is it possible to fix this with additional javascript perhaps?
