Error while installing with SQL server

whether Elxis supports SQL Server or not. While installing Elxis, we are selecting the database type to be 'Microsoft SQL server (odbc)'.
And after we enter the username and password of the database, it is giving the following warning message:
"warning:odbc_connect[function: odbc_connect]:SQL error:[Microsoft][odbc Driver Manager] Data source name not found and no default driver specified; SQL state IM002 in SQLconnect in d:\wamp\ww\elxis_sql\includes\adodb\drivers\adodb_odbc.inc.php on line 60 "
Along with this warning, an alert message is given. i.e."The username and password provided are incorrect"
We created a DSN for this and the username and password details are correct.
Can you please tell us why we are not able to install.
Do we need to do any other settings?

Elxis is 100% compatible with MySQL and Postgres databases. We have also test it (experimental tests) with oracle, mssql and access. It requires work to be done to be compatible with these (and more) databases although it has all the needed support (ADODB layer). As we have no requests for this, this work have been left aside. 99% of the users use Mysql as database. In the first page of the installation process there is a link describing the supported databases by the system. Click it to see more.
