event calendar possible bug

Hello,
maybe I've found a bug in event calendar:
Inside event calendar component configuration page, at the "Default view selection", if I select "month",  the frontend show me the event in daily format.
Clicking onto the "monthly icon" it switch and show me the event in monthly format.
In case I select "day" from the component configuration page,  in the frontend module, pressing the monthly view icon, it always show day!

Please anyone can confirm and give me a fix for having an event calendar monthly view as default ?

i am getting following error,once i click event calendar component configuration in admin panel.
can u please some body guide me how could i solve this problem.

Event calendar don't show events in calendar front end, categories and set up looks like fine.  In previous version of calendar everything worked perfect. What should i look for?
